ART, DESIGN AND APPAREL FOR YOUR HABITAT, INSPIRED BY OURS.

Behind all of our art, design and apparel is an underlying thread of curiosity and playfulness. From these values stems a respect for where things come from, how they are made and the resulting longevity we all seek in a product.

ART

The moody ocean, the creatures beneath it's surface, the waves that dance to shore and the sun baked red dirt of the land. These are some of the elements that inspire our art.

Majority of our works are drawings which are created through layering black ink scribbles on a surface. Most works are in black and white with the occasional work being splashed with some colour from inks or acrylic paints.

Original drawings are on Arches 300gsm 100% hot pressed cotton rag paper and drawn with Unipin fine liners. If cared for correctly, works will last beyond 75 years

Prints are printed on 290gsm Hahnemühle Bamboo paper which is an environmentally friendly paper with 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton. The paper does not contain optical brighteners and bamboo is acid- and lignin-free while still being museum quality and resisting ageing if cared for correctly.

All artworks are printed in Australia and to prevent waste are made to order.

APPAREL

NATURAL FIBRES

All of our apparel is made from natural fibres with most tees being 100% organic Indian cotton that is certified in accordance with GOTS (Global Organic Standard). 

The workplaces where our apparel is made comply with the FWF (Fair Wear Foundation) Code of Labour Practices meaning workers are in a safe work environment, receive correct breaks and remuneration for their time.

All of our swing tags are made from 100% post consumer recycled waste.

QUALITY

We like things we purchase to last, so figure you do too.

Numerous samples have been purchased, worn and washed to find suppliers and printers which we are happy with. We've put our apparel through the hard yards - desert sun, surf sessions, squid ink and numerous camping missions. We really have put a lot of time and effort into this and trust in our products to last as hard as you play. 

MINIMAL WASTE

We strive to reduce our waste. We avoid use of plastic packaging with our apparel and use paper or compostable packaging for postage.
