That woman. You know, the one you see in old photographs who grabs your eye. She overflows with elegance and demands attention in an era where it risque to show the knee, let alone be a female with her own opinion. This is her. I stumbled upon a photograph and had to draw her.
Print is based on an original work by Elk Draws which was hand drawn with copic pens with a fine layer of rich black Indian Ink finely painted over the top.
Archival Prints on Paper:
All prints are beautifully printed onto sustainable Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm Fine Art Paper. An eco friendly, warm toned off-white paper which is museum quality archival paper, made to last at least 75 - 100 years when cared for correctly. The paper has a smooth texture and due to it's natural construction from bamboo fibres every now and then a tiny very light brown speck can be seen which adds to the charm!
