I grew up in chilly Victoria and when the whales migrated it was the beautiful yet strange looking Southern Right Whales which frolicked along our coastline. I have memories from when I was a kid of standing on the beach or a headland hoping to see a puff or air, a peck fin, tail or breach as these whales were making there way to warmer waters. Isn't it funny that as a kid you just do not feel the cold.
Thinking back to those memories now, I keep dwelling on 'but wasn't I cold?'. I still can't believe I only wore a spring suit in the middle of winter in freezing Victorian waters!

All prints are beautifully printed onto sustainable Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm Fine Art Paper. An eco friendly, warm toned off-white paper which is museum quality archival paper, made to last at least 75 - 100 years when cared for correctly. The paper has a smooth texture and due to it's natural construction from bamboo fibres every now and then a tiny very light brown speck can be seen which adds to the charm!
PRINTED TO ORDER: Please allow some time for our Western Australian printer to create your print. Processing time is dependent on the quantity of prints we have in the works. We post all Australian orders via express post and endeavour to have them out the door as soon as possible. (usually well on the way within a week).
